Black Dog Law Supports Lab Rescue OK’s Golf to the Rescue
Black Dog Law was proud to serve as a Silver Sponsor of Lab Rescue OK’s Golf to the Rescue tournament this year.
This one is personal for me. Black Dog Law was named in honor of the black Labs that have been part of our family over the years, and I have had the privilege of rescuing two Lab Rescue dogs, Boo and Birdie. Supporting an organization that gives Labs another chance at a healthy, safe home felt like a natural fit for the firm.

A Good Day for a Good Cause
The tournament brought together 107 golfers and raised $22,022.21 for Lab Rescue OK. Those funds help support rescue work, veterinary care, foster and hospice care, and programs that help dogs safely find and stay in loving homes.

It also happened to be a beautiful day for golf, and one of the best parts was getting to see a few of the dogs the event was really about.

Why Black Dog Law Supports Lab Rescue OK
Lab Rescue OK is a Tulsa-area, volunteer-run nonprofit dedicated to rescuing, fostering, and rehoming Labrador Retrievers. The organization has helped thousands of Labs find homes since 2001.
Community involvement is important to me because small businesses, nonprofits, founders, and local organizations all grow stronger when people show up for one another. Sometimes that means legal work. Sometimes it means making an introduction, serving on a board, sponsoring an event, or spending a day on a golf course helping raise money for dogs that need a second chance.
That is the kind of community Black Dog Law wants to be part of.
